Responsibility to culture

E-mail Print PDF

It's amazing how most of the Traditional Healers (TH's) I know grew up in non-traditional families just like I did, and then we find ourselves inheriting the role of custodians to tradition and culture by virtue of being Traditional Healers/iZangoma.
That has actually been one of my greatest challenges as a Traditional Health Practitioner and not because of other people, but because of my own sense of responsibility towards this culture and also what it is I believe a Traditional Health Practitioner should be able to advise on and also give direction on.

African medicines in the 21st century and beyond

Lest we forget, we must give thanks

The Soccer World Cup has come and gone.  It was a beautiful event which was enjoyed by the whole world.  We prayed and pleaded for a peaceful and enjoyable festival of football, which we were kindly granted by all who look after us on the continent.  Now we need to go back and give thanks for the opportunity granted and the environment which allowed us to take part.

Ask and it shall be given.  Remember to go back & give thanks!
